Mount Abu, also known as Aravalli parvat, is one of the only hill stations in south Rajasthan near the Gujarat border. It offers an oasis to the state with its green forests, hills and beautiful lakes! 1.Guru Shikhar: A peak at an altitude of 5,676 feet (1722 meters), is the highest point in Rajasthan and is one of the best places to visit in Mount Abu. It is located at a distance of 15 km from Mount Abu and has a commanding view of Abu and its surroundings.  Gives a beautiful panorama. A famous temple for incarnation of Hindu deity ‘Brahma’, ‘Vishnu’ and ‘Shiva’ in one, ‘Dattatreya‘.





2.Nakki Lake: Beautiful lake which is one of the great place to visit in Mount Abu. It is the largest man-made lake at the height of 1100 meters in India. It is surrounded by hills on all sides and boating here is a wonderful experience.





3.Dilwara Jain temples: Famous for their sculptures and brilliant marble work. One of the world’s most beautiful pilgrimage spots. Sorry guys, photos not allowed inside. Totally worth a visit. Mainly built by Vastupal and Tejpal, between the 11th and 13th centuries AD.




4.Achalgarh Village is a village in Mount Abu which is famous for the Achalgarh fort and Achleshwar temple. The Fort is situated about 11 kilometers north of Mount Abu, a hill station in Rajasthan, India, Built by the Paramara dynasty rulers and later reconstructed, renovated and named as Achalgarh by Maharana Kumbha in 1452 CE,[1] one of the 32 forts built during his reign.




5.Tod Rock is one of the most frequented points in the Mount Abu. This magnificent rock is in the shape of a toad, which seems to descend to the love lake, Nakki Lake. This charming rock formation is one of the famous attractions for the visitors, where they can climb this rock easily.



6.Honeymoon Point: Located at a height of 4000 feet, with the background of Nakki Lake and Old Gateway to Mount Abu; Honeymoon Point is a must visit tourist place in Mount Abu.



7. Sunset Point is a decent place to get trinkets and knickknacks. It is situated in the South West of Nakki Lake, which gives you a beautiful perspective of the setting sun. Charming atmosphere makes it a most loved spot of the travelers.






8.Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary: Mount Abu is undoubtedly very beautiful. Mountains and amazing viewpoints have been my weakness anyways! Just look at the enchanting sunset we witnessed on the road.
