1. Auli, Uttarakhand

Dhanaulti is a hill station located 30 km from the popular hill station Mussoorie in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. If you really want to enjoy Dhanaulti in its full bloom then winter is the best period. It is situated at an altitude of 7500 ft from Sea level.



9. Chopta, Uttarakhand

The snow lovers visiting this beautiful valley in Uttarakhand, they cannot stop in too the winter season. Here is the temple of Tungnath, though closed in winter but looks absolutely scenic being covered in snow. It is situated at an altitude of 8800 ft from Sea level.



10. Patnitop, Jammu and Kashmir

Patnitop is a beautiful hill resort of the Kashmir valley in the district of Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir. It will take around 3 hours to reach this exotic destination from Jammu. It is situated at an altitude of 6700 ft from Sea level.

Opening hours: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, Closed on Mondays

Entry fee: Free, but videography fee is INR 300
Opening hours: Daily, 7 am-12 pm: 1:30 pm-6:30 pm. It is closed during prayers and the timings depends upon the direction of the moon
